After a truly brilliant 2005 season, it was going to be tough for Natalie Gulbis to top her performance in 2006. Last year Natalie had a good year although it was nowhere near as good as her 2005 season.

Some of her statistical highlights included:

• 6 top five finishes including a 2nd place finish
• 7 top ten finishes in 26 starts
• 16th on the money list with making $693,968
• 9th (tied) in birdies
• 8th in greens hit
• 9th in scoring average

I’m not sure what to make of her putting… On one hand, she was 51st in putting with 29.66 putts per round, but was tied for 11th in GIR putting (1.77 average). The second number is pretty good, but the first number is not so great.
